close friends, without the other 900 followers

a whole app that is only your close friends list.

instagram close friends turned into a second audience. boloh is just the people you'd actually text.

  • no likes or view counts
  • one post a day, gone at midnight

why not just use instagram close friends?

close friends lists grow, stories sit next to ads and public posts, and view counts make everything feel like a performance. boloh only has your friends, no metrics, and one post a day.

how does boloh work?

every day you post one photo and add a voice note or a song. your friends' posts stay locked until you share yours, so everyone takes part instead of lurking. everything resets at midnight.

who can see my posts?

only the friends you add. there is no public profile, no follower count and no discover feed, so strangers never see what you share.

is boloh free?

yes. boloh is free on the iphone app store, with no ads.

is boloh on android?

not yet — boloh is iphone only for now.
